This website, online store, home delivery service and social media assets in addition to our retail store in Doncaster East, are owned and operated by Di Censo Fine Foods. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Di Censo Fine Foods. When you shop with Di Censo Fine Foods, either in-store or online you accept, are agreeing to comply with, and are bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy and disclaimer govern Di Censo Fine Foods' relationship with you in regards to this website. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any of our services.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these terms and conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Di Censo Fine Foods' online store is hosted by WordPress using Woo-commerce. This provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.


The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

You or we can’t vary these terms and conditions once an order has been placed unless made in writing and signed by both parties.

Orders are binding upon placing an order through our website.

Our acceptance of your order is conditional on the availability of stock and our ability at that time to receive and/or deliver. If any of the products you have ordered are unavailable at the time of ordering or become unavailable subsequently, between the time you order and our advised delivery date, or for any reason we are no longer able to deliver to you we reserve the right to cancel & refund your order without liability. In the event we cannot deliver all the goods you requested we will simply refund accordingly or work with you on a second delivery (free of any further shipping charge) to fulfil the order in its entirety.

Should you wish to change any of your delivery details or delivery date after placing an order, and provided we receive your request via email or phone in a timely manner, we will do our best to accommodate any changes.

Customers are held responsible to input their correct delivery details. This includes name, street, suburb, state, postcode, email and mobile number. We will not refund or reimburse those orders that were not delivered due to incorrect details. All responsibilities and ownership of the delivered products fall to you upon delivery. Your delivery details are for use within Di Censo Fine Foods only and will never be sold or given to any third party.

Payments and Pricing

When placing an order online a small deposit will be required to confirm the order. This deposit will be made through our website via our chosen payment gateway Stripe. The remaining payment (total minus deposit paid) will be made either on delivery via our mobile payment system or in-store during pick-up.

After payment of the deposit, Di Censo Fine Foods reserve the right to withhold the deposit if delivery is unsuccessful*, if you do not collect the order or require unreasonable amendments to the order.

Deposits on Christmas orders will be retained by Di Censo Fine Foods if you cancel your order once Christmas orders have closed.  The closing date for Christmas orders will be made available on our website, social media assets and here on this page in the month of November of each year.

You consent to paying an initial deposit online, and then at delivery or in-store pick-up, are happy to pay the remaining total which may be within a 10% price variance due to the nature of our fresh products being sold per kilo. Similar to when shopping in- store, it is impossible to always provide an exact amount in kilos due to some cuts of meat and ready made products like sausages, being of a particular size. By shopping online and utilising our home delivery service you are agreeing to accept a +/- 10% variance in the total price of your order.

Your payment details will always be secure and protected, and never sold or given to any third party.

Online specials and promotions do not necessarily reflect in-store specials and promotions and are subject to change without notice.

Products and stock levels listed in the online store do not necessarily reflect the products or stock levels in Di Censo Fine Foods retail store. To confirm availability of stock please phone in-store directly on 03 9842 3078.

If you are unhappy with your in-store or SIGNED FOR home delivery purchase, Di Censo Fine Foods will refund or replace your purchase, when deemed reasonable.

Refunds WILL NOT be processed on home delivery orders that have been left under our Authority to Leave consent, due to their perishable nature.


Pursuant to Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) we guarantee when delivered your chilled meat/poultry will be at a temperature of 5ºC or below.

Meat and poultry orders will be delivered on the date specified on our website and will be accompanied by any grocery items if ordered. Delivery dates are  published at the top of our home page and are subject to change without notice. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of delivery dates when placing your online order to ensure someone will be home to accept delivery.

On the day of delivery, we will SMS all recipients a delivery time window. Recipients will then receive a SMS stating they are the next delivery.

All orders must be signed for by the recipient. These signatures will be recorded on the driver’s log book, adjacent to where the driver has recorded the temperature at the time of delivery. Please ensure the driver has recorded the temperature of your delivery, prior to you signing.

In the event you have not been delivered exactly what you ordered Di Censo Fine Foods will rectify the situation with a discount on your next order, a credit or a second delivery. As soon as you notice the order is not what you requested, please notify our retail store on 03 9842 3078.

If there is no-one home to receive the delivery, we will call the number listed on the delivery sheet. If we cannot get in touch, the driver will wait 10 minutes, before placing a Sorry We Missed You! card in your letterbox and returning your order to Di Censo Fine Foods for you to pick up at your convenience.

If you are unable to pick up the order in-store and/or need it redelivered, you will be charged a restocking and redelivery fee of xxxx prior to the order being dispatched.

To protect both our business and your interests, under NO CIRCUMSTANCES will we leave chilled meat/poultry unattended at your address and unsigned for UNLESS, the following two criteria have been met:

  1. Authority to Leave Order tickbox on our online delivery form has been ticked, and
  2. I Agree to the Terms and Conditions tickbox on our online delivery form has also been ticked.

If you have checked these two criteria online at the time of placing your order, our driver will leave your order UNATTENDED with the following conditions:

  • our driver will place the order where indicated and take a photo as evidence of delivery,
  • our driver will place an Enjoy Your Di Censo Order! delivery confirmation card in your letterbox,
  • Di Censo Fine Foods becomes void of any responsibility as to the temperature or shelf life of the products, or it's whereabouts once the driver has photographed the order and left the premises, and
  • under the terms of An Authority To Leave order, no returns, refunds or claims can be made.

We make every effort to ensure our website is representative of our business, however prices may differ between our retail store and our online store. We may at our discretion run specials in-store that are not reflected online and vice versa.
