Ferron rice is organic and there is no use of pesticides or herbicides. In accordance with traditional farming practices, fields are routinely left fallow. In non-planting years, corn and medicinal herbs are cultivated to replenish the soil with nutrients. Water from pure and unpolluted underground springs encourages pristine crop growth.

Vialone Nano is a semifine grain which is appreciated for its softness and less grainy texture. Vialone Nano holds its shape during cooking while absorbing the flavours of the other ingredients. It is particularly suitable for traditional risotto recipes as it binds well with vegetables such as pumpkin, mushroom, asparagus as well as meats.
